Add spacers to the Leopard Dock

Add spacers to the Leopard Dock, originally uploaded by hetima.

Add a line of code in the terminal, restart the Dock, and position accordingly.

  1. 1. Open terminal.app
  2. 2. Type: defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-apps -array-add '{"tile-type"="spacer-tile";}'
  3. 3. Type: “killall Dock” to reload the Dock.

This can be repeated multiple times, and spaces can be removed by dragging them from the Dock.

Far more elegant than the solutions in previous releases.
